The Sarcoma Research Team at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital is proud to announce the establishment of the Sarcoma Biobank at Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital. The establishment of this biobank was made possible thanks to donations received for the PascalTLafontaine Fund.

Patients with sarcomas can participate in this project on a voluntary basis by allowing the research team to collect a portion of their cancerous tissue obtained during a needle biopsy or surgery as part of their care.

The collection of these tissues will allow our team to carry out fundamental sarcoma research projects to better understand the biology and discover new treatments.
