Fundamental Research

The basic research consists of any form of research on cancerous tissue or blood from cancer patients. Through the Sarcoma Biobank of HMR, we have established a fundamental research program on sarcomas. This program is directed by Dr. Bachir El-Affar, a basic researcher at the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital Research Center.
